Ramadan & Supplement

Hari ni tergerak hati nak cerita tentang supplement/vitamin/ makanan tambahan. Memandangkan kita sedang berada di bulan Ramadan, pastinya setiap orang memerlukan energy untuk bekerja dan beribadah pada siang/malam hari kan. Mostly time puasa ni standard orang makan makan masa berbuka dan bersahur kan so daripada makan tiga kali sehari dah berkurang pada dua kali. Orang macam aku yang jenis tak suka makan atau kalau suka makan sekalipun badan payah naik sentiasa perlukan supplement lebih-lebih lagi ketika bulan Ramadan.


Aku mulai berjinak dengan supplement masa umur 19 or 20 tahun. Most of the time memang akan makan tapi ada certain bulan yang skip jugak kalau rasa macam kurang bajet.haha. Antara supplement penting adalah vitamin vitamin C dan Vitamin B Complex. Biasa kalau dealer shaklee selalu sebut dua set ni sebagai set kecantikan. Lagi satu as for me aku sekarang tengah consume minum Appeton Weight Gain, ahaha silalah gelak kuat-kuat. Disaat orang lain bertungkus lumus nak kuruskan badan, aku berusaha untuk naikkan berat. Tu pun masih tak naik naik walaupun dah empat canister dah minum. Sabar je lah yang penting sihat, dan dan usaha tu ada. Biarlah orang nak kata kenapa masih kurus melidi biasanya aku persetankan je. 😖😖

Vitamin C 


Sekarang nak fokuskan pada vitamin C dulu. For your information, biasanya vitamin C ni ada dua jenis tau, iaitu 500 mg dan 250 mg. Perbezaan ni setahu aku just dari segi consumption saja. Kalau 500 mg strength dia kan tinggi, jadi makan sebiji sehari pun dah cukup. Kalau 250 mg boleh makan 2-4 biji sehari. Biasa aku suka beli 250 mg boleh refer first gambar brand flavettes tu. Sebabnya boleh makan banyak kali dalam masa sehari, haha tu je alasannya. Aku pantang bab-bab menguyah vitamin ni sebab rasa dia macam gula-gula. Boleh jadi addicted 😜

Untuk bulan Ramadan ni, aku beli 500 mg boleh tahan selama sebulan. Makan pada waktu malam. I am not particular about the brand when it comes to vitamin sebab rasanya semuanya macam sama je but in term of flavor Flavettes has the best taste ever as compared to Cebion. Flavettes juga product dari CCM which is one of the best Pharmaceutical Company in Malaysia, at least yakin lah dengan brand keluaran product kita nih.ngeh

Importance of Vitamin C:

Imporving the skin tekstur:  Did you know that collagen also makes up the structure of your blood vessels? This means that vitamin C may help you have a healthier vascular system, which will help your blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to the skin to keep it healthy. When you lack vitamin C, your skill will eventually become rough and dry – so adding more vitamin C will plump up the skin surface and help it to retain more moisture.
So if you want to have healthier, smoother and younger looking skin – try adding more vitamin C supplements to your routine or adding more vitamin C containing foods to your diet!


Vitamin B Complex


Untuk Vitamin B Complex pula aku consume not regularly. Dia ikut mood, kalau rasa nak makan aku beli je lah. Contoh B Complex Forte from CCM ni ada 100 tablets jadi bolehlah tahan dalam 3 bulan lebih, once dah consume jarang aku skip, tiap hari mesti kena makan. Setahu aku terdapat 8 vitamins yang utama dalam B complex iaitu B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), B5(Pantothenic Acid), B6 (Pyrodoxine), B7 (Biotin), B9 (Folic Acid) dan B12(Cabolamin) tapi dalam B Complex Forte made up from all vitamins except B5, B7 and B9. Aku tak pasti kenapa dia tak ada semua maybe vitamin B5 and B7 required prescription for hormonal balance and B7 only required for pregnant lady since folic acid important to promote the healthy growth of the featus

p/s: Biasanya kalau orang yang biasa makan supplement/vitamins akan notice badan akan rasa sangat dehydrated kalau kurang air especially jenis yang makan banyak at once macam aku nih jadi nak tak nak kena banyak minum air kalau tak badan rasa penat sangat. Tiap malam boleh tahan berkali kali juga wajib sedar minum air. Dah jadi rutin dah gigih bangun dalam pukul 3-5 pagi bukak peti cari air sejuk. Alang alang minum air, makan coklat sekali sambil baring dekat sofa (buang tebiat). I am not talking about sahur guys I am talking about my regular night routine. hahaha


Importance of Vitamin B Complex:

B1: Vitamin B1 helps the body make new cells.
B2: This B vitamin is important for red blood cell production and fighting free radicals.
B3: Helps regulate the nervous and digestive systems and aids in the conversion of food into energy.
B5: Breaks down fats and carbohydrates for energy and is responsible for the production of hormones.
B6: Helps the body turn food into energy. Vitamin B6 also helps the body fight infection.
B7: Involved in the production of hormones.
B9: This B vitamin helps cells make and maintain DNA and promotes the growth of red blood cells. It also helps to reduce the risk of birth defects.
B12:Vitamin B12 helps regulate the nervous system and plays a role in red blood cell formation.

I believe everybody requires different amount of vitamins and minerals. Sistem badan setiap orang tak sama. The best way is to consult physician.  Kita biasa dengar kalau vitamins/supplement ni tak perlu consult doktor pun boleh beli tapi kadang-kadang kita tak tahu berapakah amount yang diperlukan oleh badan kita. kalau badan kita dah cukup terlebih ambil pun bahaya jugak so the best way tanya doktor. As for me doktor selalu syorkan aku makan vitamin especially vitamin C, maybe sistem pertahanan badan aku agak lemah sikit sebab selalu sangat demam, selesema and sometimes weight deficiency jadi aku selalu amal vitamin C.  Ok, that's all celoteh from me this time.
